As a fourth generation food guy, Howie Sher has seen it all. As ‘Head of State’ for WYN, he has a nutty sense of humor, but is serious when it comes to his ambitions for his products. World snack domination is imminent.

Howie came to Spry with a Facebook presence as the only online marketing during his product’s initial launch period. Shortly thereafter, Spry partnered with Vivid Henchmen to create a fun, engaging website, using What-a-ya Nuts?! existing brand assets.

The goal with the web build was to increase brand recognition through a better desktop and mobile experience, promote an online sales service, and gain a national audience. Spry chose the WordPress platform that is easy for Howie’s small team to update and manage, and that prominently encourages interaction with his social media properties. The site’s fun, interactive elements and clever blog posts clearly communicate the culture of the company, which lends itself well to word-of-mouth and viral marketing.

Since the site launch, What-a-ya Nuts?! has engaged Spry for a number of additional projects, including a social media contest and an online store setup.
