Austin West is a Software Engineer and a graduate of Stony Brook University. He holds a Computer Science degree with a specific focus on Object-Oriented programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms. Because he is well-versed in Java, JavaScript, and C, he possesses a strong foundation for modern development. At his core, Austin is someone who loves to create, which is why he originally fell in love with computer science.
Throughout his time at Stony Brook, he gained valuable experience in designing applications. For instance, he developed the website for the University Radio Station using cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services and Firebase. Additionally, he gained a deep understanding of the relationship between software and hardware. This knowledge is crucial because it allows him to create highly efficient programs.
Furthermore, Austin served as a Teaching Assistant for the Analysis of Algorithms class. This role helped him develop strong communication skills. Consequently, he is able to explain complex technical problems in a clear and actionable manner for both teams and clients.
