We are looking for a qualified business analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for performing detailed requirements evaluation, documenting processes, and performing varying levels of quality assurance. Additional duties include reviewing and evaluating business systems and user needs, documenting requirements, defining scope and objectives, writing user stories, and formulating systems to parallel overall business strategies.

For this position, we expect you to be a savvy professional with an understanding of how solutions can help clients achieve their business goals. You should have a natural logical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

Ultimately, you should be able to transfer the knowledge from a business and its implications to our internal team of designers, developers, and project managers.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluate business processes, uncover areas for improvement, and implement solutions
  • Elicit and document requirements, which may include business requirements, functional requirements, use cases, non-functional requirements, user stories, and business process modeling
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies
  • Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Produce high-fidelity technical documentation, including, but not limited to, requirements, process mapping and test plans
  • Manage development boards
  • Create and present reports 
  • Work closely with clients, design team, technology team and project management team.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and client key performance indicators
  • Perform process mapping and data analysis as required to support business initiatives.
  • Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, and work with the project management team to prioritize deliverables, and negotiate on product functionalities
  • Coordinate data extraction from various databases and data interpretation
  • Partner with development and analytic teams to provide reporting solutions
  • Perform user acceptance testing and other quality assurance activities
  • Participate in Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Functionality Testing.
  • Identify implementation barriers from user acceptance testing of new systems.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
  • Proficiency in writing technical requirements and user stories
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects/tasks of varying complexity
  • A track record of following through on commitments
  • Familiarity with Agile concepts
  • Comfortable using G-Suite applications, including Docs, Sheets, and Gmail
  • Adept at learning required tools, e.g. Gitlab, ClickUp, Slack, Figma, Google Workspace

  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • The ability to work closely with stakeholders to find and agree upon acceptable solutions
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, and time-management skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data analysis
  • Experience with Google Looker Studio
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with content management systems and HTML/CSS
  • Understanding of SEO and web analytics (Including reporting tools)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Experience presenting to internal teams and clients
  • Technical background with an ability to address accessibility and compatibility issues
  • Scrum master certification
  • BABOK certification
